Tom Hoffman suggests that at some point every composer will write his own version of "The Four Seasons' and this is my attempt at such a work. Each of the movements depicts an image or evokes a feeling that was a unique experience.
II. This movement was written in the pre-dawn hours on a Sunday morning in a college chapel high on a hill. The moonlight was reflecting off the snow through the windows of the building creating a light show unlike any other experience. The wind through the trees not only provided an otherworldly accompaniment, but added fascinating movement of shadows within the reflected light.
