This work first appeared in rough form on a concert given by the Colby College Jazz Ensemble in Maine. Originally titled "Revenge of the Thursday Night Jazz Commandos", it is a minor blues with a bridge. After its initial performance the piece was reworked retaining only the opening bass line motive and primary melodic fragment. Remaining in sketch form, the piece found its present form with the creation of the Pandemusicum Ensemble.
